Regulations
Student Professional License Certification Regulations
1. These bylaws are formulated in accordance with Article 72, paragraph 4, of the National Taipei University Regulations.
2. The National Taipei University's Department of Leisure Sports and Management (hereinafter referred to as the Department), in order to educate outstanding leisure and sports management talents, actively encourages the acquisition of professional licenses, enhances professional practice skills, and increases employment competitiveness.
3. Students of this department need to obtain at least two professional licenses before graduation. Among them, the non-core intellectual ability related licenses (general category), at most only one is recorded.
4.The certification process
(1) Fill in the application form (such as the attachment), and check the original of licenses (returned after inspection) and a photocopy.
(2) Recipient: The department's office.
(3) From the 16th week to the 17th week of each semester, the department will collect the documents and send them to the department affairs meeting for review and approval, and then carry out the certification according to the regulations.
5. License Types
(1) Professional core categories: coaching certificate (C to A) for each individual sport, referee certificate (C to A) for each individual sport, water lifeguard certificate, water lifeguard coach certificate, sports facility manager, national physical fitness instructor, fitness tester, American Academy of Sports Medicine (ACSM) coach certificate, American Aerobic Fitness Association coach certificate (AFAA), International Sports Aerobic Fitness Federation (FISAF) fitness instructor certificate, sports Injury guard ID, tour leader ID, tour guide ID, or other approved by the department meeting.
(2) General category: Language (except English) related certificates, primary first-aid cards, financial certificates, or others that have been reviewed and approved by the department meeting.
6. These measures shall be implemented after being approved by the departmental affairs meeting and academic affairs meeting and signed with the principal for approval, and the same shall apply when amending.
